Quality Steps Community School Embarks on a Memorable Library Trip
A Day of Discovery at the Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem II Library

In a remarkable step toward promoting reading culture and digital literacy, Quality Steps Community School (QSCS) from Feyiase in Greater Kumasi embarked on an educational tour to the Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem II Library, one of the vibrant branches under the Ashanti Regional Library.
The visit, held on Friday, 10th October 2025, formed part of the schoolโs initiative to expose learners to real-world experiences that nurture curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love for books.
During the trip, students were warmly welcomed by Madam Charity, the Head of the Library, who led them through an engaging learning session. She introduced the students to the Ghana Library App, showing them how technology can make reading and learning more accessible in todayโs digital age. Through this interactive demonstration, students discovered how they could read e-books, access learning materials, and explore educational resources anywhere, anytime.
The session also featured a series of exciting library activities, where students participated in storytelling, reading challenges, and discussions about the importance of libraries in shaping their future. The enthusiasm and curiosity displayed by the pupils reflected QSCSโs strong commitment to nurturing a community of confident and informed learners.

Wildlife & Water Wonders: Quality Steps School Trip to Bonfobiri Wildlife Sanctuary
The Headstarts class of Quality Steps Community School recently embarked on an exciting and educational trip to the Bonfobiri Wildlife Sanctuary. The visit formed part of their science lessons on the topic of Water and provided students with a valuable opportunity to experience learning beyond the classroom.
During the trip, the children explored the sanctuary and observed real-life examples of water sources, wildlife habitats, and the important role water plays in sustaining plants, animals, and the environment.
